I had a look at the maternal death by live birth stats in Wikipedia. The US is currently ranked at 123 out of 185. But what is really striking is that in almost all other countries it is trending down, whereas the rate in the US has more or less doubled since 2000. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of...
