Lazy programming is found in every app you use. No better example than the default date for your birthday being today. New borns sign up often, do they?
Been a while since I put some very much deserved shit on Vodafone, so here’s a reminder what cunts they are. This was just after cyclone on Gold Coast. Vodafone network started working after a few days and then linked out again for many days.
Saw my first blue bells ever just a few weeks ago. These were near Saint Micheal’s mount.
The bullshit of EV charging. This was the massive piece of shit Citroen EV. Hard to imagine such rubbish was designed and made in the era of EV technology. Said it would be charged in 20mins. We went to services and had lunch for over 30mins. Came back to it still more than 30mins until charged.
A delightful picnic shelter with a lovely view of the beach and water.
For over 60 years, many more years, they were already old when I was a little kid, concrete stairs with hand rail sufficed. Now timber that won’t last even a fraction of that time. Well done local council! Must be hard to keep finding things to waste rate payers money on.
Eco nincompoopery by local council. Barrier has stopped no sand, it’s very course, but has stopped the view of ocean if you’re parked in your car, say on a sunny cold windy day, like today. More harm than good at great expense. Local council on brand. *been coming here for 60 years. This is new.
All my fav pussy cats have left me in recent times. This is Dee, new fav in progress.
Tonight’s dinner, an entire box of prawn cutlets. Executor for my best friend trying to eat my way through his freezer before the remains have to go in the bin. Things we do for our dearly departed…
Wine glass is empty. Can’t refill for, umm, reasons. No one warned me getting a lap cat could lead to sobriety!
Bush turkey is back. (*disappointment*) Scratched up all the mulch from a no-go zone at end of the driveway. Mound is as high as trailer and about as wide. Not sure if that’s enough. In past the mound was smaller and then abandoned, in other parts of the property.
The idiocy of AI is everywhere you look, because a technology that just doesn't work has been shoe-horned into everywhere. Instructions to fix crash on Windows start with opening a command prompt! AI is useless technology outside of the niche places it works well.
Well, today is off to the most shit start possible. In true Microslop style every error message is as vague and meaningless as possible. Scans that claim to repair everything yield this same error.
One of the shittiest days possible and this happens. Maybe my luck has turned…
I can see the container definition files are three in the folder. Setup guide: 4. Visual Studio Code will automatically detect the devcontainer and prompt to "Reopen in Container" (bottom right corner) - click on it. Of course, VScode doesn't do anything with the container. So now what?
Been a bit over a year since I reported side mirror not working properly whilst under warranty. Gave them the video they asked for 2 months ago. Now a pic of the gearbox is needed! Mazda are a nightmare to deal with. The gaslighting and victim blaming is something to behold.
This family of Wallabies that live around our property. Unexpected joy every time I catch a glimpse of them in our yard eating grass.
Been raining all morning and the sun just came out Sun’s out, roo’s out! (It’s a wallaby)
Had a Ninji experience in Bristol this week and thought of you. Display panel behind reception at Novotel Bristol. Windows XP with Internet Explorer in task bar, makes me kinda nostalgic for the good old days when cybersecurity was just for making movies exciting.
Never encountered these abominations before this UK trip. You know how you ask yourself, how bad can it be, let’s try one. Dear reader, my imagination was not up to the task of adequately predicting how bad it could be. Somewhat of a porridge lover, optimism blinded my common sense.
Enjoyed a brief visit to High Wood, Liskeard, today and met this friendly fellow, Shane, who gave us an impromptu tour! Tasted some English bush tucker along the way. Protect Earth is saving woodlands for future generations thanks to tireless work of @philsturgeon.com and his many volunteers.
Got great pic today of the wind turbine at GridServe charging the EV. (Yes, that Citroen piece of shit) I could watch renewable energy being made while it was being poured into the car. (which bit gave away I’m on the spectrum?)
EV for next if trip. Says read online good for info. This model not mentioned online. Set of alarm trying to figure out how start the dumb thing. Kept locking itself with us in it. What a piece of shit!
The sea gulls are twice size they at home. These aren’t going to fight over one chippy, they gunna mug you and take the lot.
Fuck me Google Maps, there’s fucken Concord St on the map! Useless tech, use maps because you don’t know where you are and it uses street name not visible as reference point. Straight ahead, left, right they’re the only directions I know!
Today’s tech fail: An obviously more direct route I’m facing. As soon as I start walking recalculated route is 100mtrs shorter. Apparently one isn’t supposed to complain when only being fucked over a little bit. Where’s AI when you really need it?
