When I'm working on an improv art quilt, THIS is what my cutting table looks like. For my more designed pieces (sunsets, flowers, etc), I will arrange my fabric choices into rows and lay them out on the table in the order I want them in the finished quilt. #quiltsky #artquilt

Not 100% but improving so I'm back in the studio after a weeks long RA flare. I'm also back in the classroom tomorrow, teaching a beginning class with an advanced class in the works for later this month! Just 6 more blocks to finish this large art quilt WIP. #quiltsky #artquilt

The jokes write themselves. My BA is in Women's Studies, I am very familiar with the Suffrage movement. The US Dept. of Education wants you to know that American History is worth learning... They used a picture of British Suffragettes. *Sigh* I just can't with these people anymore...

I'm back to work! I'm teaching a class this Saturday AND... I'm offering my first Advanced class, working on the diagonal, at the end of the month! Yippee! #quiltsky #artquilt

My feline nurse is caring for me. My rheumatologist appointment went well. I got a med adjustment, and steroids as a bridge. Today, I'm just recovering from the long weekend and I will be back in the sewing studio tomorrow, even if I'm working slowly. #cat #quiltsky #RAwarrior

I was back in the studio today despite my joints complaining. I have deadlines! This Girl Boss is not going to let rheumatoid arthritis hold her back. I do see my rheumy this week though so I'm hoping we can do a med adjustment to get me back at the top of my game. #quiltsky #artquilt

My husband helped put out the sign and mulch the new plants. I'm hoping to open soon! It's more of a gallery than a shop but I will be available to take commissions and special requests. It's not much, and it may not do much, but it's all mine. #quiltsky #artquilt

I put out a call on my other social medias asking if people would be willing to share inspirational pics they'd taken and would let me use them for future art quilts. My RA flare is preventing me working but I can prep for when I'm able to work again. My followers delivered some beauties! #quiltsky
