Yep. Drove to my dad's on Saturday for a father's day visit. Google routed me just blocks from the fire. I saw people walking around outside, some trying to sell cocos, a common sight in LA. A state of emergency wasn't called until that night, yet the fire had already been burning for 3 days😤

We're officially adopting our foster, Mr F. He and Keanu are playing together, which is what we hoped for (Keanu's buddy, Sam, passed away last year, just shy of 18yo. It's been clear that Keanu had been needing a feline companion since then). 🐾🐾🐾

'Mr. F' (for friendly, and also just to make the Arrested Development reference), made himself quite at home in less than one week. He's a young one and was one day away from euthanasia, (due to his front right leg having several fractures when he was found) before the shelter took him in 🐾

We just picked up our foster cat on Friday. He's about a year old and was only on the euthanasia list because of fractures in his right leg😭 We're so happy to give him a chance (and if he and our resident cat get along, he'll be with us for the long term!) ❤️
