I put my Insanity Mode run of Requiem on ice for the time being. I'm now on to the Resident Evil 3 remake, which isn't what I expected. I'd been told it was basically a straight line and nothing like what it should've been, but there's actually some playing around with hub zones. Solid! #blutoid
The minigun also being the horse's head reminds me of the genius that is Shin Megami Tensei IV's Minotaur.
I lied! I've been wanting this for some time. My current Resident Evil kick tipped the scales towards "buy now worry later" territory. That Bloober Team put out two alleged must-haves within the same year is, given their history, astounding to me. #blutoid

I doubt anyone besides me cares about this, but I was actually able to find a very old backup of my Notepad app that included some semi-promising lyrics I had written. I hardly ever have inspiration strike me at this corner of the songwriting process, so this was a fantastic find! #blutoid
On a related note, I tried out Requiem's "Leon Must Die Forever" mode that unlocks after completing the game (w/ the good ending) and it's a lovely time! A little cobbled together, but it is essentially the much-lauded Raid Mode from Revelations. Looking forward to losing more hours to it! #blutoid

I assume I'm in the latter-most section(s) of Requiem at this point and it's been a real damn good ride. When people said this was like two games in one, without spoiling anything... they weren't kidding. Ignoring some blemishes, 9/10! Also, (younger or older) Leon can step on my crotch. #blutoid
Requiem is at least a 9/10 so far for me. The Leon sections are shamelessly short for how fun they are, but the whole of this is excellent. Satisfying gunplay, great pacing, tense as heck. I'm glad CAPCOM has hit their stride post-RE7. Shocking that great stuff sells too, huh! #blutoid
