I didn't actually think I was going to have enough art to fill this out this year, but I added some gradients to a couple sketches and fuck it, good enough lmao. This year was so fucking difficult, immigration into the US is no joke. It's expensive, dehumanizing, and stressful all tae fuck. I have my interview Jan 6th and with any luck I'll officially be a permanent resident soon and a lot of this stress and anxiety will fall to the wayside (at least until I have to worry about my naturalization exam in 3 years).

So with that said, I think I can *actually* make progress on my art this year. Wife is going to help me set up an art bingo, and I'm doing an "art school" sort of deal with the polycule so we can freshen up on the basics and push ourselves to relearn the fundamentals. I want nothing more than to push myself and my art to the next level, and after the year I've had I can only be hopeful.

I'm not going to apologize for not posting as much in 2025 because I had very good reasons to be busy, but I would love to post more in 2026 regardless, because I love art, and I love sharing my artistic journey. So here's to this year not being as awful as the last!
