Seasoned Pita Chips. Cut pita bread into smaller pieces. Toss with olive oil and seasonings of choice. (I used za’ataar) Spread evenly on parchment paper lined pan and into oven at 350F. Go outside Suddenly remember chips in the oven. Run. Remove! Place on counter. Add expletives of choice.

After much deliberation, some great daring, perseverance, and the help of a good neighbour, this Bosc pear got this beautiful mesh veil to protect her fruit from birds. After many disappointing years of being ravaged, I might just get to eat at least one pear this year. Fingers crossed.
