This is wrong for all the obvious reasons; the knee jerk anti-intellectualism of it is very boring and tedious. But it is also wrong empirically in the sense that to the degree that partisan politics *is* warping science, it is coming from the right.

Picked up a tip from YouTube. Painting some medieval miniatures, for the chainmail heavy types prime them black and then just heavily drybrush them with a metallic color. Not only does it look pretty cool but it is one of the most tactile satisfying things Ive ever done in this hobby.
