Game #22 - PowerWash Simulator 2 (2025) A great game to zen out to. I’ve been chipping away at it since it released and have finally completed the base game (and all achievements). Now to start getting the DLC. 😅

Game #21 - Rhythm Paradise Groove (2026) The last first party game for the original Switch (that we know of) and a pretty great one at that. Great visual presentation, the right level of challenging, and a pretty fun soundtrack.

Game #20 - Metaphor: ReFantazio (2024) I’ve been chipping away at this one since March, and I have finally reached the end. Honestly an excellently written and engaging RPG that ai wish I had gotten to far sooner!

Saw some dinosaurs and a sleeping cat.

Side questing in Adelaide.

Had an illuminating evening.

Bought a new 4K Blu-ray (while that’s still a thing).

Went out and touched some grass.

An update on the game shelf. Have done a bit of double stacking so there are some GCN, Wii, Wii U games hidden below the top row of Switch games. Also some of the larger CE boxes are stored elsewhere.

Game #19 - Star Fox (2026) Same as it ever was, but all polished up for the new generation. So far I’ve done four separate runs and seen every mission at least once. I would really like to see a proper sequel with this as the basis, but we’ll just have to wait and see.

Time to play my first Trails game.

Game 18 - Final Fantasy Remake Intergrade (2020, 2021) Have been chipping away this between games since January. Was the third time the Final play through? Never say never I guess.

Game 17 - Forza Horizon 6 (2026) Got the wristbands, stamped the stamps. Roaming around in fast cars doing things is as fun as ever six entries in. Still plenty more to explore in the post game. I probably won’t do every weekly thing but I’ll pop in from time to time.

Game 16 - 007 First Light (2026) Super cool spy caper. Loved the story, the locations, the gadgets, and of course the Bond, James Bond. Really hope that IOI gets to make another one of these (if they want to!).
