This will be of interest to people in Southern California. The winds have changed and we are facing a hell of a few days coming up, even though we haven’t recovered from the last week.
I have always championed the idea of trade schools or apprenticeships. When I began teaching elementary school in 1965, I suggested girls find something that would earn them money and not expect someone to take care of them. I always told students that college wasn’t for everyone.
