People think of Sylveon and Hatterene as the trans Pokémon because of the colors and the vibes and stuff (and they are) BUT... Togepi literally sits in a broken eggshell waiting for someone to be kind enough that it feels safe to come out, and if that isn't the most relatable shit...
Just realized I never posted these here. I finally figured out recently how to get good close-up shots of my eyes. I've already really loved how pretty my eyes are, and now I finally have the confidence to use eyeliner and mascara to draw even more attention to them. 💜
I think this is about right, I'll have to check with her when she wakes up.

Anyway, continuing with my reread... I'm gonna glaze over the next part a bit, but suffice to say that by the end of chapter 5, he's decided to accept her help. In chapter 6, he decides he'll come out (of his castle, not the closet) and meet her friends.
She decides to stay with him for a while and help him realize who he is; a kind person, and not the cold, withdrawn person he is convinced himself he was. It's about this point in my 25-years-later reread that I said "Oh fuck... Did I unknowingly write a trans allegory in high school?"
He realizes he can't kill her, and after he gives up, she realizes she doesn't want to kill him anymore either. Why? Because she sees something in him that he doesn't see for himself.
They end up in a sword fight and he disarms her; such riveting action! 😅 But the chapter ends with him stopping short of killing her.
The first chapter opens from the perspective of a necromancer. His castle is being assaulted by a powerful wood elf spellcaster. Lots of spell names from the Warhammer rulebook are used, in capital letters so you know those are the official spell names. :P
I've *always* gotten compliments on my eyes. 😊 Definitely one of my natural physical features that I'm proudest of. In fact... my parents just gave me a hard drive with a *bunch* of old photos they scanned in, so here's little baby Shawndra.
Okay, so it's taken nearly 8 months of HRT and 3 laser hair removal treatments, but I have finally taken a no-makeup selfie I don't hate.
Turns out the color was actually almost perfect, but I didn't use enough of it, initially. With a few more layers, it looks really good.
Working on bases for my Blood Bowl Lizardmen team; trying to make them match their pitch at least somewhat well. I think this test base came out reasonably well.
Today my mom was wearing this shirt. ☺️ She apparently got it at a @sirsy.com concert before I was even out.
