I also love that nothing is arbitrary. There's no strictly correct answers because everything is made from basic operations on pritivives. Youre not getting copper to make a circuit board, you're cutting a circle in half, rotating it, painting it, then using a swapper as a sneaky combiner...
Also what ungodly rituals did they pull off that my cheap laptop can casually run stuff that would make the most ambitious factorio megabase look puny. I'm only halfway though the damn game. The space platforms must be INSANELY optimized.
Shapez 2 is is the game I always wanted factorio to be as someone who doesn't find the combat or resource management super engaging. The sheer range of scale you can pull off even when you don't know what you're doing is crazy. It's like the best parts of the factory genre with nothing I don't like
