2/ She Votes Illinois supports the RIFL Act because women, femmes, and girls are greatly affected by firearm violence, from intimate partner homicide to pregnancy-related homicide, and survivors should not bear these costs alone.
1/ Every act of firearm violence leaves lasting emotional, physical & financial impacts on survivors, families & communities. The RIFL Act would shift more of those costs from taxpayers & survivors to the firearm manufacturers, helping fund evidence-based violence prevention & survivor services.
