Tonight like every patriotic American I'm going to watch "Monty Python's Life of Brian"
"Flame-shdance", an equal-parts mix of "Fame" and "Flashdance", which in many ways were the same movie, would make a great one-sheet, but I won't even bother asking an AI to make it for me because it is simply too stupid. I have had the idea, I have uttered its stupid name aloud, and that is enough.

Death to Ming. DEATH TO MING!!!!! DEAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAATH TOOOOOOOOOOOO MIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIING #DeathToMing
I've completely changed my mind about AI agents, I want an agent trained on Ignatius J. Reilly to take charge of my life from now on
Intersection of Barham & Forest Lawn, Burbank. Never realized until having my eye led to it by the "Supergirl" paint-over, but the Warner Bros. lot water tower as seen from this intersection falls directly under the window cluster of 3500 W. Olive Ave., the one shaped like an ethernet port.
"Willie Wonka and the Chocolate Factory" (novel by David Peace, 1971): In this crime drama, five children enter a chocolate factory; two hours later a small capsule emerges from the roof; they are never seen again
It's hard to make out in Google Maps, but Verdugo Ave. in Burbank points WSW towards a little hill on Mulholland Dr. overlooking the Valley. Traipsing up & down Verdugo daily as I do I've often wondered what it is but never looked it up until now. It is in fact Warren & Annette's place
Here's what I've got. If you want this to become part of the historical record, you should become a Genius.com contributor! And then tell us how to become a Genius.com contributor! Because at some point I'm definitely going to have to proof all of their lyrics to the songs from "Escape from Noise"!
Where is Gus Gorman when we really need him to go in and move the decimal point on all these Facebook payments three places to the right
You won't be hearing this copy of my neighbor's LP, "The Sound of Tennis with Everett Covin", because this is just part of the dirt I managed to wipe off of side two, which I believe he may have left on his (now missing) turntable for two years uncovered. (It's signed! 😁)
As The Sparks Fly Upward, That Is To Say The Clouds, Insofar As It Looks Like They're Sort Of Flying Up Maybe, We Gaze Upon The Neighbor's Silvered Windows In The Summer And Wonder When The Adorable Dog Sukiyaki Will Come Out To Play (June 9, 2026)
@michaeldaly64.bsky.social Do we know if one of these classic promo posters of the Bonzos and their pet eggs riding the magic hotdog over Tomatoland has ever gone to auction? I'd sure love to find a higher-res image
This slander, this egregious, unforgivable travesty of historical character assassination...I love it so 😍
@lartist.bsky.social For your Lisa Frankenfurter images, can you get the saturation you need if you add a UV layer? I've never printed such a thing but our @jackfoster.bsky.social here in L.A. has. Maybe he can advise. Under blacklight this Sidequest print of his is bitchen 😁
I'm not a collagist, but I play one when I produce reissues. From the @firesigntheatre.bsky.social Book+DVD "Duke of Madness Motors", now available from www.firesigntheatre.com 😁
Burbank, May 29. Watched "Nope" the previous evening. Leave it to our #JordanPeele to give me a (temporary) terror of puffy white clouds. (featuring bonus kitty photo)
From "Charles Ives and His Music" (Henry & Sidney Cowell, 1955): a) Charles asserts that love of art & the common man is not incompatible with rugged masculinity b) Charles feels no need to keep up with every bit of music produced up to last night c) Charles has his ass checked out by Mark Twain
I'll never tire of the incandescent, flatulent insincerity of stock image models. Here for example is the mood board in the window of David's Bridal in Burbank, depicting three women on a fancy-free adventure thinking hard about their bridal wear options: for, you know, that casual first marriage.
