I tried my own Stego OTK extensively during theorycrafting but mine was way too greedy! Kudos to Funkimonki for making this more streamlined. I went 2-2 in my testing... definitely high fun factor ✅. Will play more of this on Hunter TV this week #hs_hun

July Legend w my take on the fun new Face deck ft Rat King! Went with Fyrakk & Ursol for more fun factor. 71% WR thru 35 games on PC. Spent a lot of time testing other off-meta decks that aren't viable in this meta. #SidsLegend #hearthstone #Sidvioletholddecks

Welcome insights from vS regarding the 2 popular Face builds:

Face Hunter has two slightly different builds that are viable. Beast Tripwire is not a strong performer in the archetype, but it does not look like a clear liability, so we have kept it. The faster build is straightforward: It is Cataclysm Face Hunter with the Tripwire package and Underbelly Network.

The slower build is a bit more defensive, running King of the Underbelly with Agamaggan and Briarspawn Drake for a big burst turn. Earthen Roar enhances Briarspawn Drake’s potency. The Felrattler inside King of the Underbelly is not important and can be replaced with other options.

The faster build is better against Rogue, Hunter and Mage, while the slower build is better against Shaman, Priest and other slower decks.

Hunter deck ft Tripwires, draw, tolvirs, Blackthorn, Carvers

The game-ending combo is to play both copies of Arcane Tripwire, Rat-Catcher and then draw (Smuggled Shovel swing, Tracking/Tame Pet or killing the Rat-Catcher). This deals 50 split damage to the opponent.

For us to execute this combo, we need to either reach the end of our deck or play Blackhorn to delete most of it. Our combo pieces specifically cost 3 mana, so Blackhorn accelerates the process of finding them. The only thing we need to be mindful of is whether we drew our two copies of Confront the Tol’vir before executing the combo.

A turn 3 Tol’vir Carver can even allow us to play Blackhorn on turn 5, which might be a devastating play in slower matchups. Alternatively, we use Carver to discount Arcane Tripwire or Rat-Catcher.

Renathal Questline deck ft Miracle Salesmen, Raj Nazjan, Ethereal Oracles, 1 Starshooter, 1 Howl, 1 DragonbaneShot. Most of the deck is geared around 1 costs & Tolvir.

73% winrate thru 48 games. Worst matchups are Warlock/Paladin. Deck makes up for it by decimating Mages, Priests & Warriors.
