I had a lovely slow walk with me Ma and we heard lots of birds. Ma also saw loadsa squizzers and Mumma deer following one of her fawns but I didn't - too busy enjoy slow sniffs!

Cor look at my raptor list now! #PeregrineFalcon!!! A breeding pair used to come to a tall building near our wood to nest and raise chicks - but this year they've found a taller building a mile away!

Merlin app life list - showing results kites (common), buzzard (once - nice surprise!) AND today a peregrine falcon! Ma heard it before she saw it! Had to park the car and walk back to the tall buildings and there it was, chasing pigeons...

Ma saw Mamma with her twin FAWNS the other morning 😍 👌

Screenshot from a dashcam. Mother roe deer with 2 tiny fawns had walked along the footpath, saw Ma in her car, turned and ran for cover. They headed for the woodland via the side of some railings. Look closely - you'll see Ma, one fawn following her and the other tucked away behind her.

'Tis me, #SiggySchnauzer, here pals - I was on a cool evening walk and Ma and Pa saw this Roe Deer. Usually they freeze but he just ambled off so Ma and Pa took me the other way and crossed the road to leave him in peace.

A brown roe deer has a body facing right but his head turned to face the camera. He has antlers. He was feeding I the grass but looked up briefly then went back to feeding. Ma was a distance away and posed no threat. She didn't want him rushing into the nearby road - and in fact he leapt over a shallow stream and met his mate and they both bounced REALLY HIGH into the wood. Sure had a spring in their steps!

'Tis me, #SiggySchnauzer, a grey min schnauzer asleep on a black/grey Ikea rug. Again. I'm lying on my belly with my head resting on my front paws so my beard and leggages fur are a blur 😉 I appear to be all fur at the moment - groom next Saturday 👀 Oh! Also... I thought I'd got away with being camouflaged but no, The Mammarazzi got me again 😆 Ma bought 3 of these rugs cos I was struggling to get up with my back legs off the slippery floor - they seem to have solved the problem. So there's this one, in front of Ma's armchair, one in front of Dad's spot and one in the kitchen. They're a good size (>size of 4 doormats stitched together) and washable... although the kitchen one shrank a little when it was washed (5%, exactly as Ikea said it would 😆).

Here I am having a stretch on a fluffy blanket, showing off my belly. My back legs are facing south but my front kegs afe facing north 🤔 I think it's called a twist with half pike but not sure, I just said that 'cos Ma likes cheese pastries and I like fish 😉

Ma heard a bird calling and thought "WOODPECKER!", rushed for her phone, fired up the Merlin bird identifying app, held the phone out the window and BINGO! EURASIAN GREEN WOODPECKER! Not that she could see it (in the Neighbourwood over the road...) 🐦
