I just attended CEEISA's conference in Sarajevo. What a wonderful experience, from meeting new and old friends to being glared at by cats to watching the sun set beyond the city and the mountains surrounding it! I have fully overdosed on heavy food though.

Just had my bike mitzvah! By which I mean the first time I've had a bike stolen.
Now that I'm in Tokyo and relaxing a little, I was able to get photos off my camera SD. Here are a few favourites from Kyoto and area!
Nearby Arashiyama and, of course, Nara are also both stunning at this time of year.
I'm on a little holiday to Japan. I've spent my first day wandering Kyoto and taken about a thousand photos. Most are of the sublime forests and temple landscapes but a few photos of the people also jump out! A sample of my favourites:

A few months ago my cat lept on me during a live TV interview. Sadly when the clip was posted online that part got edited out.
Surprising nobody, I have not yet exhausted my supply of cats. Again, these are all just photos from Istanbul. Mostly from Kadıköy (more kediköy lmao) and Cihangir.
I wasn't done posting photos of cats, I just took a break. I did not take a break from photographing cats, though, which is why I have so many photos of cats to post.
