No AI. I hate it when I look at an image and its hard to decide if its real or fake, if its computer constructed or if has been made by human ingenuity. I'm into IR, alchemy and alternative photography. Affected by the bee in my bonnet. zzzz
My home made eclipse viewer. First eat the pringles. Other snacks are available. Peel off the foil. Make a coin sized hole in the end. Make a small hole in the centre of the foil. Place over the bigger hole. Put the transparent cap back on. Point at the sun. Test before the eclipse happens.
I have a small overground fish pond with 10 fish in it. The local birds help themselves to water. Especially the magpies who clean up any left over fish food. Oh.. and visiting doggies who mainly just look.
Police officers were obliged to salute senior officers but when bike riding were allowed to just nod. Cartoon character Noddy from the Edid Blyton books was popular with children at the time...
Out walking my dog in the park. An interesting bug landed on my leg. It's about the size of a garden pea.
I must dig out the film images I took of the runs of Bluebird at Loch Fad, Bute in 2018. OK. Here's one. I have better somewhere..
That was my train crossing the Tamar River on Isambard Kingdom Brunel's brdge of 1859 to Devon on my 500 miles back to Scotland. ( I was sent the video ) Ten hours later and three changes of train I was home.
I bought a Charmera... First shots. I have to figure out how to remove the date imprint.
Or hang them over the back court washing line and beat them with a cane beater like this. The stour !
I have 500 miles by train back to Scotland tomorrow... it's better than walking...
My 'new' camera on the left. It's tiny. A Kiku16 from 1957. It appears to work. Shutter operates, winder turns. Just needs a good clean. Now to figure out how to make some film for it..
That's five b&w films developed. ( One from pre 1989, three half frame and a random one found in an old camera ) Just seven C41 films to do.. a busy day ahead... then the scanning..
Back to the workbench. Huge light leaks. Its also susceptible to blurring caused by the wind moving the camera.. More glue and sticky backed plastic required for #WPPD #Pinhole #PinholeDay
My adapted Instax will be snapping this weekend in Edinburgh... with interesting and random ( expensive.. ) results.
Seventeen candidates and just one vote in the Scottish Parliamentary Regional List vote here. Who the ' f ' are these folk and what's the big attraction ? #Scotland #Holyrood #GravyTrain
