The prices for Nintendo Switch 2 in Finland just made me chuckle. I was prepared to pay the MSRP, but the distributor in Finland seems to think adding an extra 25% on top is acceptable. Yeah, fuck that.

Weekend’s book haul. For some reason it’s getting increasingly hard to find The Long Earth books or Discworlds with Kidby/Kirby covers. Especially in Finland. Thus I grasped the opportunity while in London. Also nice to find Vonnegut books other than the three most famous ones.

Had a real 28 Days Later moment in London last weekend.

Mockingbird by Walter Tevis from 1980 is almost prophetic with its story about a world governed by an AI, a mass epidemic of depression, declining birthrates, and people losing the ability to read. It's a story that has stayed with me ever since I read it. A masterpiece. #Booksky #scifi
