I’m retired. I’m resisting the government for my children and grandchildren. I like abstract painting. If you’re an artist in any medium follow me. I will follow back. I would love to see your work. Thanks
I read somewhere that the SPOTNIKS will not be performing either.
RAGE AGAINST THE MACHINE!!!!!! Am I the only person who thinks we need RAGE AGAINST THE MACHINE to put out a new LP to sing to power?
Journalists? Who will be our William L. Shirer? Who is documenting this, too similar, momentum American history.
Cinco de Mayo at my house. I was home alone. Canadian Club and Coke was my libation.
I had four shelter dogs. I still have two of them. Oliver and Holly.
This my granddaughter lip sinking. She is one year old. She has some moves. 😀
I got this finished last night. I started with a different idea. This is where it ended up.
Oliver (L) is heading out to a new walking route. We try to have variety on our walks. Holly loves our walks too.
Love and enjoy them. My wife’s hair stayed amazingly unchanged (dark brown) into her sixties. She saw to that (wink). I convinced her to let it go to gray. It looks better than it ever has. People ask “who colors your hair”? She smiles her biggest smile and lets them know it’s her natural hair.
I went for a run Saturday. with the local Fleet Feet club. It’s my third day. My first mile was in 9:24. After that I walk/ran two miles. The second was mostly walk. The third was mostly run. It was a brisk morning. I’ll go back Tuesday. I’m trying to build a habit. Mileage so far 2.18, 2.33, 3:00
A day as tragic as yesterday demands a peaceful sunset. I hope it helps you take a deep breath and relax. This is the Savannah River from the North Augusta, SC side.
This is Oliver and Holly! Shelter dogs that have been my best friends for a decade.
I saw this in rural South Carolina. I passed it traveling across the state. This is not an isolated incident. It’s all over the state.
A few of the many 10s of thousands of workers being let go. I’m retiring Jan 2nd, 2026. My job, TV News photographer will be open. Apply now at WJBF.com. The job is in Augusta, GA. You will likely be covering the Masters Golf Tournament. I’ve been there about 40 yrs. It’s a pretty good place 2 work.
I once came home to find Otis had eaten an entire loaf of bread from the countertop. I still laugh about that today. He died last year. I still cry when I think of him.
I haven’t seen this alternate name for donald j trump “The Orange Oaf” yet. Pass it around!
I finished this painting today. That’s all I’ve got about that.
It’s got to go before the grandkids find it. I’d love to get a 44 Auto Mag. I probably never will.
Am I alone in remembering and wanting the return of the Banana Flip/Banana Dream? These taco shaped cakes were great!
This my first ever painting. I’ve been reading about Bauhaus and other modern art. I’ll be doing more different styles since I’m retiring soon. It’s pretty relaxing to paint. It hangs, appropriately enough, in my upstairs bathroom. I’m the only person who goes in there.
This my first painting. It’s a 4 inch x 6 inch. I’m making a few changes when I do the 24x36 version. Changes include thinner red, black and blue stripes bottom right. If you have any advice I would love to hear from you.
Drop some shades. These are the shades I love the most. I don’t have them.
Can I ask if I’m the only person drinking more now than they did before Jan 20th? I just noticed that my bottles need replacing more frequently. Just checking.
My dad died a few years ago. He no longer answers his phone. He no longer calls me. Call your dad before midnight no matter what the relationship is today. He’s waiting. Time is short.
This was my sign today. I hope it helped to inspire. Columbia, SC.
