Released on this day in 1986, Black Belt (originally Hokuto no Ken) brought martial arts action to the Sega Mark III and Master System in Japan! Fun bit of retro trivia: programming for this classic was handled by a young Yuji Naka. 🥋✨ Also... that Western cover is diabolical.

On this day, 6th July 1996, the Game Boy Pocket made its debut! A massive upgrade in design. Sleeker, sharper, and with a significantly improved screen. It improved the handheld experience and remains a total icon of the 90s. Who still has theirs in their collection?
