It’s was a lovely day to be campaigning in Bathgate. I fondly remember my mother taking me to Bathgate (the nearest big town back the ) to buy my bucket and spade from Woolworths before going on holiday.

Mine wants fed at 5am…..but only when I’m home. When it’s only my other half in the house she knows not to bother trying.

Every weekend from now to 7May I will be campaigning to elect more @scotlibdems.org.uk to the Scottish Parliament. A reminder that virtually everyone you will see campaigning (of any party) is a volunteer doing what they believe to be best for the country.

Speaking at the @scotlibdems.org.uk conference in Edinburgh this past weekend I called for my SNP opponent to join the cross party campaign for fair funding for the rebuild of St Kentigern’s Academy in Blackburn (my old school).
