I am 2 panels away from just getting to enjoy this car. Its been SO much work, but its been an amazing journey and she's completely different from what she was when I got her in January. I can not wait to share this thing with friends and enjoy some curvy roads.

The vision is coming together but so slowly.

A little bummed to have had some stuff for the car damaged in transit that isnt easily replaceable. Used some epoxy to try and salvage a door card but had to move on. Making progress makes me less bummed but its not the night I had envisioned.

Interior is out, prepped to be swapped. Just waiting on it to arrive and the new sound system before it goes back together.

Door cards out, 6.5s in... also installed new tweeters (not pictured). Waiting for 4 more speakers and the blue interior to arrive before it goes back together.

So im just stumbling on this post from like 15 years ago. Someone swapped the blue interior into a black GTO. Ive got a full blue interior coming for mine but now seeing end results im stoked.

Getting the new grilles on the car with the help of @sierralune.bsky.social. Ive always been a huge fan of the SAP package for these cars. Its makes such a difference!

Finally have the bike back home and she's been sitting in the shed since. I love riding but boy and I still good on bikes for now. Time to focus on the GTO a bit more for the fall season.

Last day. What an amazing adventure. Another 6137 miles (10,527.7 total), visited amazing places, met amazing people and battled through weather from 36F all the way to 96F including snow. Was it a perfect trip? No. But incredible experience with my partners and memories we wont forget. ❤️

Day 6 we left Oregon, past Mt. Hood and made our way through Washington to end up in Pend Oreille Idaho. There were some pretty sights but mostly a travel day to set us up for what im most excited for. Glacier National Park is tomorrow!

Days 4 and 5 were long ones. Coastal redwoods, into Oregon and then on to Crater Lake. We ended the day in Portland to rest before more road time tomorrow.

Holy crap, we made it to Oregon!

Day 3 we zoomed through the mountains to Lassen Volcanic Park. It was cool to see active activity there in steam vents and the south side of the park was incredibly beautiful!

Day 1 in the books. We started at the Hollywood sign, took some twisties and ran up the Pacific Coast Highway to Big Sur, ending in Monterey. Riding came back do quickly and the views were incredible!

First time riding these things in almost a year. Gotta do some service then its 8.5k miles home!

Love the ADV arc! They are such a blast to just go get lost on.

In just 2 days we fly back to San Diego for the second part of our trip around the country. Im extremely excited to have another amazing trip with two special people.

The Momo Mod.08 in 330mm/blue. Having a custom blue face plate made for the speedo then going to hunt down a blue interior to do an oem black on blue GTO.

Plugs looked good when they came out but I already had new ones ready... so fresh spark plugs! The MSD wires should be in next week. Eagerly awaiting the steering wheel and custom speedo.
