I was using image search and that is what popped up every time. I hadn't heard of a Sharp Shin so I looked up differences between the two. They are strikingly similar but this picture fits the description of a dark cap with nape hood on the Sharp Shin!
Today I got to witness a Cooper's Hawk swoop down and grab a Junco from where it was feeding behind the house. It jumped around and squeezed with it's claws until it went limp, then flew away with it. #Bemidji #MN #wildlife #AprilinNorthernMN
