Plain White Rapper
@sketchycharacter
Uptight, middle-aged suburban white chick for peace, love, & understanding. Bleeds madras. Sardonically and sartorially irreverent. Closeted wannabe standup. Word puzzle addict, artist/painter, Nantucket basketmaker, Boston-area landlord, rabid tennis fan.
Reminds me of my kid at 3 - her dad loves anything George Washington - we were at Wyatt Earp's birthplace and a copy of Gilbert Stuart's unfinished Washington portrait was on the wall. She motions to the unfinished part and shouts "Dad! Is that George Washington?" "Is he all NAKED DOWN THERE?"
I watched on ABC's stream and fell through a time/space portal when he declared ABC wasn't airing it.
From my Nina's Betty Crocker Picture Cookbook from probably 1960? A jello "salad" with cheese balls, pineapple sherbet, and French dressing (optional).
Also missing (see photo): (I've been hoarding this in Boston for 2.5 years! Oh, when, oh when, is the right moment to drink your last Spotted Cow? Maybe when the right obit shows up?!?)
Finally an opportunity to share my collection of ridiculous Ostapenko tennis kits! Her own designs. They'll make your eyes bleed. And yes, I have these in my phone for occasions like this!

It's supposed to be a potato playing tennis . . . Part of a tableau of athletic foods at the corner of Harvard & Boston Avenues.
Along with convincing people not to get COVID vaccines (Black people are 2x as likely to due from COVID), the maternal and child mortality rates increasing due to birth-related laws, and this, I feel strongly that this is genocide by attrition. They want Black people to depopulate "naturally."
This is my father, but add a neurotic level of covering everything w blue tarps so no water touches ANYTHING. "You don't wanna pack out WET!" Hence his nickname, "Tarpy: Legend of the Blue Tarp." Sent him a pic of this painting, and it really spoke to him. He will be buried wrapped in one, someday.
If by Camberville you mean West Medford, may I introduce you to TENNIS TURD?
My favorite sign from the Women's March is now more relevant than ever!
Miss Trixie thoughtfully considers her next terror campaign.
There was an actual Harvard study showing the health benefits of ice cream. Let's do the study in dogs!
I'm a realtor north of Boston & am constantly frustrated by the imagery people concoct when they hear "affordable housing." A family of 4 earning $165k qualifies. That's 2 working parents - a pharmacist and a teacher. You know, people that ADD to their community? We need to rebrand the name.
