All the arguments about the helmets in the Odyssey (I haven't seen it yet, but plenty of pics doing the rounds) amuse the shit out of me because what we ACTUALLY missed out on was the best thing ever... the eyes on bronze-age helms.
Okay so the film lab in Iceland made a complete hash of the first scans... so much more detail (and more frame!) to be had.
I went through 3 rolls of film in my travels (35mm in the Mamiya ZM) but I think these 2 shots are my favourites. The leaf was in Helsinki, the glacial lagoon in Iceland.
Today I cleared several paths other people were afraid to walk down, because geese protecting their babies. I just kept walking, didn't bother the birbs, other folks then followed. One couple asked why I wasn't scared, I replied that I'm Australian. Both said, ohhhh, and nodded knowingly. 😂
I keep seeing this logo on trucks and stuff and it's got big @effinbirds.com energy
Just walking back to the camper from the amenities, and noticed the sky (which isn't even fully dark yet) looking a bit flamboyant.
These little dudes in the water tank at the forge reminded me of @oishinythings.bsky.social
Had to wait a while for her to come down from the very top of the tree even after the keeper brought her dinner
