Finally Fabian Nicieza and Salvador Larroca tell a story of an imaginary scenario where there is mutant peace, as well as rekindled friendship between Charles & Erik. It’s all a lie, projected into Erik’s mind as Professor X wipes it during Fatal Attractions.
Len Wein and Jorge Molina tell a frankly tedious story about how Wolverine fantasising ways to kill the X-Men he’s just met. He decides that Storm would provide a challenge.
Of all things, Roy the Boy and Pat Oliffe’s story is my favourite, where Sunfire and Banshee almost clash and discover their mutual love of music.
The second X-Men Gold story is Weezie plotting, Stan writing and Walt Simonson drawing a tale of the original X-Men trying to win a date with Jean. It’s a reminder that the X-Men got good when Claremont took over.
The narration says these two are in a lot of pain, but that doesn’t stop this panel looking hilarious. #DailyXMen

It’s a shame Firestar didn’t stick around after Amazing X-Men and her awe at being on the team was entirely reversed. I think an amount of it was the fandom turning on her when she was in the election for a team member. #DailyXMen

I’m used to people getting my name wrong, this is a delivery note from last week using the standard, “Etherington-Nunn” misspelling. I guess I should be pleased that The Bullshit Machine created a new way to spell my name wrong.
