While all I *want* to do is talk about comic books and movies there are horrible racists, bigots, fascists, grifting, abusive, lying and corrupt people out there and ignoring their actions is enabling them.
This Alan Dunn cartoon in a May 1950 New Yorker reportedly inspired the Fermi Paradox. The story behind the cartoon is NY trashcans were being stolen en masse and Dunn made a gag about aliens taking them.
