I went home this weekend and I always try to cook a few meals for my folks when I do. My dad’s older brother lives nearby so I asked if he could take him some food. It made me realize not everyone has an Uncle Junior. I love my family so much 😂.

Also found at home - my parents loved East Coast beach music, but Doug Clark and the Hot Nuts were the favorites. They even played at my wedding but didn’t get to finish the third set (IYKYK 😂).

Nice to come visit my parents and know that some things will never change.

Tonight my son had me digging through my CD’s like I went through my parents’ albums. I had to explain to him that I needed CD case because the jewel cases took up too much space.
