I’m almost 10 years out from this wide margin excision to get a baby melanoma out of my back & I never baked in the sun as much as the tan-maxxers now OR the tan chasers in the 70s. Me and my sunscreen, were sitting this foolishness out.

Me, late 1990s, in Nikko, Japan, surrounded by snow macaques. I knew enough not to pet them. They wandered away nicely after deciding I could stay.
