First up is Heather Courage , Founder of Firestorm Studio and 3D Character Artist, who will be hosting “Freelancing 101” during this year’s event.

Heather will be sharing advice, experiences, and lessons learned from turning freelancing into a thriving studio, offering valuable insight for artists and creatives looking to build their own path in the industry.

📢NEW: Narrative Design Program

We are excited to announce our new Narrative Design program, delivered by Alastair Brown. With 10+ years working as a Lead Narrative Designer across studios including Rebellion, Cloud Imperium Games, Abrakam Entertainment. Alastair brings a wide range of knowledge, having progressed from QA to Level Design before moving into Narrative Design.

The Narrative Design course is a 13-week remote programme aimed at individuals with backgrounds in Game Design or Writing. It focuses on essential skills for creating narrative deliverables, understanding game storytelling, and building portfolios.

This is an advanced program, aimed towards Junior-Mid level. Knowledge in writing or game design is expected.
