Chart of test scores from one professor at Brown. The midterms (take home, so AI could be used) scores are in orange, the final (in-person, no AI) scores are in grey. The midterm scores are overwhelmingly over 90%. The final scores exhibit a precipitous drop-off, including two people who scored 100% on the midterm and a zero on the final. The only person whose grade improved was someone who did poorly on the midterm and improved slightly on the final.

The Perils of Endless Growth (2026)

A cropped zoom of the picture floating around today of the ugly as fuck Snapchat AR glasses, centered on the right ear of the person wearing them. The arms of the glasses are, generously, “dummy thicc”. Like, a full inch from top to bottom in places. They are shiny black plastic, making the overall effect something akin to a portly man-sized beetle caressing the ear.

Yet this monstrosity somehow looks less comfortable than that would likely be. The frame is so heavy that it’s squishing the right ear of the wearer down. The entire top half of the helix is folded over the antihelix, Yes, I had to look up those terms.

Long story short, this picture shows that the Snapchat glasses are laughably ugly and if you’re in a room with someone wearing them, the only consolidation is that they are likely in extreme physical discomfort to match to social discomfort of everyone around them.

Why bother to learn how Bluesky works when you can just be whiny little weirdo instead?

If you click on the “some users can reply” text, the app shows you what those limitations are. This picture is a screenshot of the details on the post this bolt is whining about. It reads:

“Only users followed by @cait.bsky.social, users following @cait.bsky.social, and mentioned users can reply.”

So nobody “turned off replies”. They just limit them so that dipshits like this don’t clog their replies.

The funny thing is that my first game was so bad I tried cheating a few times (screenshot) and then pulled this out fully natural. It helps that one was basically the color of my eyes and one was the color of the kitchen renovations I’m considering.
