The Sala del Gran Priore in a 1932 photograph. One of the most representative rooms of Palazzo della Carovana, it served the Order of Saint Stephen for centuries and has undergone several transformations over time. Today it hosts institutional meetings of the Scuola Normale Superiore.

"Flows of Non-smooth Vector Fields and Degenerate Elliptic Equations" by Maria Colombo, SNS alumna, began as a doctoral thesis. It explores vector fields and degenerate elliptic equations, essential tools for modelling complex systems. Published by Edizioni della Normale, 2017.

Workshop "Digital Philology: Methods, Tools, and Infrastructures". 45 participants from European institutions, including @eelisa.eu partner universities, explored methods and tools for digital text editing. Five days of lectures, hands-on sessions and a visit to the Biblioteca Medicea Laurenziana.

250 international scholars gathered in Florence for "Social Movement Studies in Intense Times", a conference marking the retirement of SNS political scientist Donatella Della Porta. Discussions focused on social movements in times of war, climate crisis and democratic backsliding.
