Glengariff though is the only one when I checked yesterday that had Sayed losing and by a margin like this. Sayed fared better generally in those that favored democrats—but also look at Glengariff’s numbers—something isn’t right here. GOP winning +10?
They absolutely were accused of that. They were blamed for the disorder and people hated MLK for it.
I’d like to note three things where you’re also exhibiting: being a “white moderate” more devoted to order than justice, failing to understand how protests are always demonized by policing fringe if not nonexistent behaviors within it to demean it, and to note MLK was most hated when he pressed.
I mean the article says it’s not a pattern but a conscious choice:
