I would have loved to see more from other characters, especially Kinger and Gangle who kind of won out as favorites, but the finale we got is powerful if you let yourself acknowledge that Jax is interesting (and that trans people are people, and can still do bad things). Keeping your true self hidden away will create deep unpleasantness that doesn't go away, no matter how deep you try to push it. It doesn't get easier not to lash out if you haven't been able to accept who you are but others, even if they're supportive, can see right into you. Everyone's lives would be better if you could be open and accepted, and most importantly have the space to accept yourself. The tragedy of this is that Jax had that, but she couldn't accept it.
