after some truly incredible luck last year, my daughter is convinced that when we put the red sox game on in her room, we win. because of that, i hesitated to put it on in there today in the bottom of the eighth, with the sox down 2-0 and having not hit all day. i hereby apologize to her.
an unfortunate number of apps i use and in many cases pay for fall in to a cycle of updating for the sake of updating. every UI update to plex, for example, has made it harder for use. flighty is an exception, in that basically everything they've added makes it more useful for me - today included.

i’m used being welcomed home by bad weather, but this is a little extreme even for me
ended up defecting to JFK from LGA. on paper, it‘s worse because i get in ~30 minutes later. but on the other hand, the LGA flight has been delayed four times, the JFK one only once and my inbound aircraft is in the air while the other has yet to take off. so i guess we’ll see?
