I felt sad opening up my last WaPo Book Club Newsletter by Ron Charles today. I mourn the increasing lack of book/publishing coverage by mainstream news outlets.
I did the same with my parents and those frozen Kid Cuisine meals in the 90’s! I begged to try one for years, and my confused mom caved. I immediately regretted it once it was cooked bc it looked nothing like it did in the Nickelodeon commercials.
