Working with silver tonight for the first time on my course. Only managed to snap one blade as well. Lots of finishing and polishing next week. Still a way to go until it begins to look like a smooth piece of jewellery.

The template is in the shape of angel wings.

The finished cut out piece of silver. The silver is rough around the edges as it requires much more filing and polishing.

Another jewellery making class tonight, practicing with copper. Now just have to put it all together next week.

Copper rim and square flat back soldered together to make a gem base for a gemstone. It has rugged sharp edges and needs to be filed down.
