last I used them in was chicken and dumplings. Not, uh, the noodly dumplings. The biscuity kind. basically "any old" chicken soup you like will do, the dumplings are a wet biscuit dough (recipe in the alt text.) I used a good brown stock that got turned cloudy with a splash of lemon juice,
