Show me a cool physical game This one is now highly sought after, but due to Nintendo being boneheads. This game had three different routes, one of which was only available as a DLC, or on-disk in the limited edition cartridge. The 3DS eShop has since closed down, and you can deduce the rest
I have another WIP project too, but I kinda messed up the panel lining in too many spots so now I need to mentally take a break from it. I do love its silhouette though
Everyone say hi to my plastic child. First time dipping my toes into gunpla customisation and I'm going to do some panel line rescribing, waterslide decals, basic seam line removal, and top coating, so hopefully I don't fuck it up too badly
So I continued my annual tradition of making Hainanese Chicken Rice for Father's Day. This year was a bit harder with a newborn and a toddler around but we managed somehow Tender poached chicken, jasmine rice cooked in chicken broth and garlic shallot chicken oil, with a full complement of sauces
What's that? Oh what did I do to celebrate? Why of course I went to my local gunpla store, where the kit I've been on a lookout for for months (Gundam Calibarn) had just been restocked 😩👌
I have a feeling you'd like this book (The Field Guide To Dumb Birds Of The Whole Stupid World)
Anyway. Talking about all this got me missing dance terribly again so I guess I'm gonna go to a corner and reminisce and sit in my melancholy a little bit now
Haven't seen a cat IRL in a bit (I know, please pray for me) so most recent I've is this saved meme
Vietnam has one called bánh lọc. It's made from tapioca starch so it's translucent and wonderfully chewy. The filling is braised shrimp and/or pork that's a salty and savoury little surprise
The other thing is that the bowstring looks longer than the bow can support and the bow limbs are not bending back as much as you'd expect an irl bow to. Bowstrings do not stretch at all, so the bow has to bend a lot to be drawn back the length of the arrow. Here's a undrawn vs drawn bow example
First, the wrist is rarely bent when drawing back a bow because doing so takes a lot of strength, and would also injure your wrist. Most of strength comes from the shoulders and back muscles so people typically keep their entire forearm from elbow to fingers aligned with the arrow
They're discussing their boundaries and safe words and I'm all for it
Pretty sure it was this candy but fish flavour. Looking this up is also how I found out this candy brand was over 100 years old and is now out of business 😔
It's an otherwise pretty basic spicy chicken sandwich but each piece of chicken is a whole piece of chicken thigh that's almost dripping juice as you bite into it
Aforementioned garlic butter sauce on a tri-tip steak rice bowl The tri-tip was actually leftovers from months ago, sliced and frozen. Still good as new after defrosting
Quick and easy garlic butter sauce with spices from a BBQ dry rub. And the gunpla I last made progress on in April, before my daughter was born
