I mean, they're beats, sure. Don't know if you can dance to them, though.
What's on your DJ Playlist? More importantly, what's on your do-not-play list?
The machines at left are recorded one part at a time. The waveforms at right are edited and mixed later. It takes up more hard drive space than working with plugins, but it's a fun workflow.

Techno legend Richie Hawtin, aka Plastikman. His recording process in the early days is much like what we do here: jam, then edit.
1990: the year thrash grew up. Anthrax, in our opinion, had the smartest metal album that year. The lyrics to "Belly of the Beast," "H8 Red" and "Keep It in the Family" are even more relevant now. 🤘
Have you seen this dude? I'm kidding, it's me. I want to use this as the main Southbound Tracks account. The Bald Villain artist account will find you! 🔥🤘🔥
I like irony, but I don't use it a lot online. It's great for literature, poetry, painting, cinema, comics, standup, sketch. In discourse it comes off as sarcasm at best, a literally terrible take at worst. As Dennis Hopper says in Chainsaw 2, "Learn to speak plain. Saves time."
Before I quit Facebook (again), I had a pretty good Cult Movie Memes page. I'll stick to the good ones here. Here's Crazy Ralph singing Tom Waits.
What a time to grow up. Even Marvel had an in-house humor comic. (Literally, a "funny book.") I used to get What The--?! at the convenience store. You can still get Mad at the grocery store. I wish you could get Fangoria there.
The early eighties was a great time for fantasy and scifi. 1983's Krull is one of the best. Music by James Horner, using motifs similar to his Corman and Star Trek scores. #nw #filmsky #soundtrack
That canceled TV show you'll never stop thinking about forever and ALWAYS. @alexwinter.com 🔥🤘🔥
I saw one of these today with a roofing logo plastered across it. Someone's been in the sun too long.
Chilé likes to sleep on my hat. He's a real wild child and a good cat. His big sister Twiggy has taught him well. These are my good people. I love them.
