Tonight's harvest from out back: fresh thai basil pesto, a few thai peppers and some fresh cayenne. Bit heavy on the salt, given the oyster sauce already there but the lime takes that edge off.

Someone definitely seems to be on the mend. Still not taking too much interest in salad but the fluids, CC and i'm guessing Gabepentin are helping. Coat literally feels a lot better, too #guineapig
Shadow update: after a few days of no salad, his reluctance to take water and the weird dry poop, this troublemaker is just back from the vet for fluid treatment and a fresh x-ray. Good news is his bladder stone hasn't moved and we have probiotics and some tastier critical care #guineapig
Still not really interested in proper food, and a lot more nervous than usual, but he did steal some dropped rabbit food earlier and is keen for hay in his castle. Most of all, he's vocalising normally now. #guineapig
Shadow update: wee guy's not doing great, definitely off his food now and hiding all day. Breathing noises seem about the same as yesterday. Maybe the lack of appetite is from the antibiotics? Mouth seemed damp earlier too but maybe just spilled meds and CC. Left him to rest for a bit #guineapig
