Just starting our two-part, twelve-day vacation up in Maine. We're with my wife's family for a week on the lake then we'll be continuing up to Acadia National Park, our favorite place in the world 🩵 Here's my view for the week!
I'm admittedly not a huge beach or Halloween person myself, but it's hard to imagine a significant enough overlap of those interests to warrant these.
My student teacher got me a mug as a thank you at the end of the school year and this is my first time using it. It felt so weird to hold until I realized the handle is upside-down 🙃 Bonus picture of sleepy Suzie also visible out of focus through the inverted handle
My dilemma: On the left you see Shmewtwo. My loyal companion for the past four years. A shiny Mewtwo, best friend, almost maxed out CP. On the right you see its challenger, a potential usurper to the throne. A new shiny Mewtwo with better IVs and already Mega Y level 1. My lobster is too buttery
Our town has a huge annual book sale and today was the first major day. While it's mainly books, they do, however, also sell a lot of donated CDs, DVDs, records, and a few video games. Whenever we go, I beeline it for the games and here was my haul this year.
Still out of power. The tree took out a utility pole so I have a feeling it'll be a few days. Thankfully no one was hurt and, aside from ripping up the ground, no real damage to our property. We're at my in-laws now since they have power and live on the other side of town.
We just had a huge storm roll through town, half the city is out of power (us included), but that's not stopping the idiots all over setting off illegal, pet-scaring fireworks! There's a huge tree down on wires across our road that we just called about two days ago since we noticed it was leaning.
Out in a private group chat having the time of my life with a bunch of friends. They're all just cropped out, lol'ing too.
