Jedediah Smith and Redwood State and NP, CA (and Fern Canyon). It’s all the things: Stretching necks to see the tops of tallest trees in world, banana slugs, murrelets, elk herds, deer, salamanders, river otters, crawdads, whales, all the seabirds, camel crickets, rock jumping, campfire programs..
That’s great. I took my pup this last weekend on a quick overnighter with my son, her second time. This time she slept. She loved it and was wiped out for a few days afterwards.

Waiting in Belize City airport, there is a bar tucked away in the corner. The walls are covered with law enforcement patches. Buried in them I found a gem.
Not great shots, but a few common birds I could capture while moving about in Belize. Little blue heron and yellow warbler.
If you closely you can two, very small pairs is legs (near head and tail). That’s a help salamander giveaway. You might also try the Seek app - it’s great for getting in the right family of animal.
