The trouble with boycotting, though, is you just move from one boycott-worthy conglomerate to another (e.g., Paramount owns CBS; Disney owns Hulu & ABC, Comcast/NBC Universal owns NBC & Peacock, etc.). Syndicated shows are even trickier; for example, where I live, Jeopardy and Wheel of Fortune are broadcast on the local NBC affiliate, not CBS’s.
I’m not saying don’t boycott; it can be very effective. I guess what I’m saying is be aware that you might not be boycotting who you think you are.

I saw this when it first came out (yes, I'm old) and thought it was one of the weirdest, craziest movies I'd ever seen. It had been decades since I last saw it but I came across it again recently and found it to be even freakier than I remember!
