I made model trees from coneflower cones. Pretty happy with the results, even though they don't look like any specific species. My disbelief can easily be suspended in this case.

SFO is probably the most chill major airport we've been in. Sticker shock from the little $17 ham sandwiches though. Typical airport scheme.
Golden Gate Park What a beautiful place! Today it was in the 60's and low clouds were crazily speeding overhead. The sun was in and out of the clouds. Birds everywhere.
Not sure why, but my DLSR sometimes tones down the color saturation of red objects. This modified image is a better representation of the actual color.
