After much dicking around I think I'm ready to slap down some metallics, do the lenses, and then maybe think about the base. Learned a bunch. I think I have a working recipe for my 30k Word Bearers now
I guess I'll fix up my blacks, then apply a wash... I'm thinking a brown wash? A buddy suggested a color like purple or blue. I tried out a thin purple but not sure it's worth the effort. I've got black/brown/flesh washes in bottles so kinda want to use that
Getting back on that painting horse. Still trying to figure out a recipe for these 30k Word Bearers. I like the little bubble palette. Easy to drop a tiny bit of paint and thin it. Block colours in, wash, highlights, metallics. Or something. I dunno what I'm doing really.
