Part 5 (final): Completely stuffed. Gonna relax for a bit now... #fatfur

Panel 1: Couscous is completely stuffed and lying on his back, with a big, doughy belly pressing into him. "Oof, that was quite a meal." Sesame is cuddled up against him, hugging his belly. "Hmm looks like someone's full."

Panel 2: Sesame falls back onto Couscous' soft belly and sinks in slightly. "Perfect, time for me to get comfy too!"

Part 4: To be fair, I never really liked that table anyway #fatfur

Panel 1: Couscous the squirrel sits on the couch, stuffing himself. His enormous belly rests on the coffee table, spilling over its edges. Sesame the squirrel leans on it and says, "Really indulging yourself today, huh? It’s crazy how much bigger you’ve gotten."
Couscous blushes.

Panel 2: Sesame kneads Couscous's belly. "So soft."
The table creaks softly.

Panel 3: The table suddenly collapses under the weight of Couscous's belly. Sesame looks surprised. "Oh."

Part 3: Settled in the living room. Might stay here for a bit #fatfur

Panel 1: Couscous the squirrel is sitting on the couch, busy stuffing himself with hamburgers. A tray stacked with them sits on his belly, now so big it's resting on the coffee table. Sesame the squirrel is on the phone, ordering more fast food. The voice on the other end sounds surprised. Sesame says: "Yeah, it’s me again. That's right, third delivery order. Uh... 15 burgers, 12 party size loaded fries, 15 large vanilla shakes, and..."

Panel 2:
Sesame is interrupted by Couscous: "Huh? Hey Ses, mind putting the next batch on this tray?". Couscous stares at a now empty tray, while his expanded belly is wobbling and knocks over a milkshake cup sitting on the table.

Part 2: Alright, first batch of food is done! I think I'll move myself over to the living room for the next delivery. The couch is way more comfortable at my current size than these little stools. #fatfur

Panel 1: Couscous the squirrel just finished his first batch of fast food. His belly has gotten really big and round, and he needs two stools just to sit down. He says: "Done! The next delivery can go to the living room!"

Panel 2: Couscous is waddling down the hallway to the living room. He's still getting used to his new size. His massive belly bumps into a cabinet along the way. He’s thinking: "Man, that’s a lot to carry!"

All the linework in these drawings was done with fineliner. The final pieces were frankensteined together from multiple loose drawings xD This was before I had a drawing tablet. It involved many steps, and that may have contributed to only finishing about two drawings a year.

Old art from 2019-2023 Time jump to 2019, because between 2015–2019 I only focused on atmospheric landscape illustrations WITHOUT any characters. After that phase, I slowly started bringing characters into my work, and that's what you see here. And yes, those are two earlier versions of Couscous :3

Old art from 2015 I said I'd share some older art, so here's some work from 2015! Around this time, I figured out how to make clean scans of my fineliner linework and color it digitally. I leaned heavily into soft palettes and colored linework, applied to simple, cartoony characters.
