i wanna make more comics!! my next one i want to be a little anthology of three or so robot themed stories. here's some designs of the main characters of one of the stories tentatively called Show & Tell
did you know i have an amazing game you can play for free that's full of many animals and things. and they all do funny little animations when you find them
my favourite detail of this character is the disparity between her little portrait image and her in-game sprite. it made me think that she's been doing this for like 10 years now and never bothered to update her iconography.
i was remembering how yu-gi-oh does this earlier and how extremely funny it is
really sad to hear, one of the best to ever do it. the Eagle Transporter is one of my favourite vehicle designs ever
i don't like to share too many things from it because it's a game about exploring and finding things! but it's coming along nicely!
this is her! she is named Stagatha Beetle. i'm still tryin to figure out her non-second life design and some good clothes for her to wear
if you like my little Lion you can play a whole game of creatures I've made for free! splendidland.itch.io/formless-star
wow, it has been 1 whole year since the release of Formless Star! thank you for playing my little creatures game!
I've kind of intentionally made customising your Puppet Body a bit annoying. you have to travel across the map to go to different buildings to change each part. to change your face, you go to Dr. Capsule's pharmacy!
you might notice that in each clip or screenshot i post of amazing treasure valley, the player character, known as a Puppet Body, looks different. that's because you can customise them! you can visit various places around the valley to change your head shape, face, body, and colour palette.
in fact, putting them in the stair script has really opened the door for more animals! since them doing anything whatsoever would no longer prevent basic game functions from working, i've been able to make more complex critters, like these grasshoppers
i was having this strange problem where if a pigeon was currently in flight, it would prevent the player from being able to go up and down diagonal staircases. to solve this i simply put the pigeon code into the same script as the stairs
i have a kind of funny opinion of starfox where the only game in the series i truly enjoyed was Adventures. i played it before i ever played a 3d zelda or any other starfox. by the time i got around to playing 64 i'd already played sin&punishment which i think is a much more fun game
really fond of these bootleg space battleship yamato things and their garish colour schemes. i like the wave motion gun having Teeth
pokemon i saw in a dream last night that was apparently a regional form of Entei, whose body is composed of dry chunks of iridescent riverbed rich with pearls
i watched Mask of Light on my TV earlier today, i haven't seen it since i was young. when i heard this was coming out as a kid i was so excited but i was dismayed that it wasn't getting a theatrical release. my mum very nicely tried to tell me "well, maybe not everyone knows about bionicle".
i made a little gnome sprite at some point. maybe whenever i finish my current projects she could go on an adventure or something.
