Halfway through the year, time for the update. Not too much has changed but may as well do it anyway.
Just like what happens with the new Goosebumps book, the new Baby-Sitters Club book appears to be available at certain places ahead of the official release. The back cover confirms this is the launch of a whole new series and the Kristy plot has an interesting addition.

This year in the BSC Graphic novel verse, there's a Thanksgiving book released in May, a New Year's book in October, a mother's day book in December and a Valentine's Day book in that same December. Makes sense.
This has the most oddly specific and obscure reference in any of these.

I watched the Among Us show and it was pretty good. You can certainly tell that Owen Dennis, the Infinity Train guy, created it. The sense of humor and story escalation is similar and works pretty well. There's some satire to the humor early on and it gets decently dramatic as it goes.

Samples of the outline. Ann's outlines were fairly detailed with cute bits of her talking to the ghostwriter, with later ones having more room or being more specific. I enjoy "Room for humor here". which Peter Lerrangis says he read a lot in the ones he got lol.
